Stop! Collaborate…
And listen up! I’ve added a new aspect to the website. My friend Lindsay of Rae Wolf Designs, and I have been working collaboratively to make some of the signature Lottie Hop Baby Octopi into super detailed, Steam Punk works of imagination! These octopi can be show pieces, pins, hat pins or hair clips. It’s still early days, but every single one we’ve offered for sale has flown off the table before we can say Benedict Cumberbatch. The great thing about them is that you can find them at any show either Lindsay or I are participating in, but also … Continue reading
The baby octopi are invading!
So, if you’ve never seen one of my baby octopi, here you go! I love them so! Each one is it’s own little dude, it has a personality, and a name! If you want a baby octopus of your very own, you can find me on Saturday at the Golden Hill Farmers Market from 9-4, OR at the So-Cal Derby bout at Skate San Diego in National City from 7-??? Honestly, I don’t know when the derby is over. Probably when the after party starts is my guess. As a new feature, I’d like to direct you to a blog … Continue reading
What’s Up this Week?
Hey all! I thought I’d write a post to let you all know how the old re-launch is going: AMAZING! Honestly, I could not have asked for a better result. I’m so happy I took the time to really make everything over and get things just so. I’ve got Facebook ads now, which has really helped with my page traffic, it’s helping me connect with people who are interested in the same kinds of things I am, the stuff Lottie Hop is about, and that’s magic! I also love having the time to sit down and write a blog post … Continue reading

I’m Sick and Tired of Being Sick and Tired!
Can you guess what my gripe is? I’ve been sick two weeks now. They’ve finally nailed it down as viral bronchitis (yum yum). I’m trying to rest and get better so I can start knocking out some more fresh items for y’all! I do love to create, and coughing and feeling cruddy in general has put a damper on that. I did want to ask you all a question, and please respond in the comments area. I never get tired of Cialis and over seas dating spam in my comments area, but I’m open to change For the next … Continue reading

Upcoming appearances
So, when I said in my relaunch post that my first show was going to be in March at the Rolando Street Fair, that has come to be untrue. I’ve booked quite a bit more appearances since then! The first will be at So-Cal Derby’s February 18th match! This is my first derby, my first show since relaunch and my first show AT a derby! So many firsts…so many. I’m beyond excited to do this show. It’s my birthday present to myself, as the 18th is my birthday. This is what I decided I wanted to do! The match starts … Continue reading

My Favorite Things
One of my most favorite things in the world is baking. I once attended culinary school, a long long time ago….It didn’t satisfy my love of baking; neither did working in the industry. Really the only thing that satisfies my love of baking is being in my own kitchen, doing my own thing. I love everything about baking: I love to test recipes, I love to collect cook books, I love eating…that was obvious. Anyhow, I was wondering. What is your favorite baked good? Do you have a favorite thing to bake? I love making cakes. One of my favorite … Continue reading

My first will be at the Rolando Street Fair in March. 4. Vintage finds will not only be featured on the blog, they’ll be for sale in the Lotte Hop Etsy Store! This includes … Continue reading
Don’t Call It A Comeback!…Until February.
Hello! I just wanted to inform all 10 of my readers about what’s going to be going on with Lottie Hop over the next couple of weeks. As you may have noticed, I ditched the Big Cartel store and have moved over to Etsy. It was a hard decision, but ultimately I think that’s where you’ll be able to find Lottie Hop products for awhile, besides in person. I’m working on lots of new stuff, and I think you’ll all be pleasantly surprised with what I’ve come up with. I’m really excited about the new direction the store is taking, … Continue reading

NEW PRODUCTS! *SQUEE!*
Hey y’all! I’ve been working hard to make some fresh new products for the shop! Check them out, and as always, everything is customizable; just ask! There is no North Park Independent Bazar this weekend, but there is the Adams Avenue Street Fair. I’ll be there to show my hand made artist friends love Thank you for your input on the poll: so far we have one vote for scarves and one vote for coffee sleeves. Exercise your right as a member of the internet community and give me your opinion! Wow, I got through a whole blog post … Continue reading
