Stop! Collaborate…
And listen up! I’ve added a new aspect to the website. My friend Lindsay of Rae Wolf Designs, and I have been working collaboratively to make some of the signature Lottie Hop Baby Octopi into super detailed, Steam Punk works of imagination! These octopi can be show pieces, pins, hat pins or hair clips. It’s still early days, but every single one we’ve offered for sale has flown off the table before we can say Benedict Cumberbatch. The great thing about them is that you can find them at any show either Lindsay or I are participating in, but also … Continue reading
The baby octopi are invading!
So, if you’ve never seen one of my baby octopi, here you go! I love them so! Each one is it’s own little dude, it has a personality, and a name! If you want a baby octopus of your very own, you can find me on Saturday at the Golden Hill Farmers Market from 9-4, OR at the So-Cal Derby bout at Skate San Diego in National City from 7-??? Honestly, I don’t know when the derby is over. Probably when the after party starts is my guess. As a new feature, I’d like to direct you to a blog … Continue reading
Upcoming appearances
So, when I said in my relaunch post that my first show was going to be in March at the Rolando Street Fair, that has come to be untrue. I’ve booked quite a bit more appearances since then! The first will be at So-Cal Derby’s February 18th match! This is my first derby, my first show since relaunch and my first show AT a derby! So many firsts…so many. I’m beyond excited to do this show. It’s my birthday present to myself, as the 18th is my birthday. This is what I decided I wanted to do! The match starts … Continue reading

Where is Lottie Hop??
Hi! I’ve been a little busy lately! I’ve been furiously crocheting my hands off trying to keep up with custom orders, store stock (sadly overdue) and craft show stock. I’m finding it’s a real challenge following your heart, making and selling your art and keeping up with all of your day to day stuff (like raising a baby!). I’m happy to announce that I have been part of the North Park Independent Bazar twice now, and it’s going well. I also learned that I have been accepted to sell my Lottie Hop line at the San Diego Crafters for the … Continue reading

Happy Handmade Holidays Digest #1
Hi all! I decided to do the digest for the Handmade Holidays event I created on Facebook as a monthly post on my blog for easier organization. You will find the digest posted on the first of each month until December, at which point the digest will be released weekly up until Christmas. Here’s a list of artists, vendors, craftsmen/women and craft shows we have so far since creating the event: Craft Fairs and Shopping Events: North Park Independent Bazar When: Every Saturday from 1-6pm Where: Queen Bee’s in North Park San Diego Crafters for the Arts Pre-Holiday Bazaar … Continue reading

I’m burried in yarn!
Hello all! Sorry to be silent the past couple days! I’m up to my ears in orders, and unfortunately much of the stock from the web store has sold out, yipes! Fantastic for me, bad for you, I know. Bear with me though, more will be up soon. Plus, I’ll be out amongst the general public at the North Park Independent Bazaar most weekends through the end of the holiday season. And, have you seen??? Happy Handmade Holidays! This is the event I created on facebook to promote artists who make and sell their own handmade goods. I hope everyone … Continue reading

Quick post before knocking out: Friends of Lottie Hop!
Hi all! Just a quick post before I pass out from sheer exhaustion. I was able to get permission from some super cool people to add links to their shops to my page, so please find links to Bel Bambino, Lisa’s Ribbons and Humble Heart Thrift Store and Boutique on the right side of my page under “Friends of Lottie Hop.” I love Bel Bambino for her amazing childrens’ clothing and accessories, and Lisa’s Ribbons for her super polished and creative book marks. And Humble Heart, well, you know how much love I have for Humble Heart. My friend Cheryl … Continue reading
Comic Con!
Second Sister in Command and myself were at Comic Con yesterday from the crack of the doors opening until about 4p.m. at which point we said, “I’m going to collapse!” So we went and hung out at what I like to call the “lumpy park” for awhile and then called it good. We started our day out with a tiny bit of disappointment as the single panel we really wanted to see, Torchwood: Miracle Day, had a line that was already out the door of the Convention Center and snaking its way towards a restaurant not even on the premises. … Continue reading
